Teresa Lee

Teresa A. Lee, age 64 of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at St. Mark’s Living in Austin. Teresa Ann Toutant was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, to Phillip and Carol (Butcher) Toutant on June 9, 1956. She graduated from Red Wing High School. Teresa married Jerry Lee on March 22, 2006 at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, Iowa. The couple enjoyed gardening and dancing together. Teresa belonged to the American Legion Auxillary. She was a very talented seamstress and enjoyed making all her own clothing. Teresa also loved her dog, Rudy.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lee of Austin, Minnesota; Jerry’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; sister, Connie Beshears of Oakridge, Oregon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Carol Toutant; two brothers; Phillip James “Jimmy” Toutant and John “Johnny” Toutant and one sister Susan “Suzy” Todd.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, Minnesota. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 57 people for the service. Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Masks, social distancing, and all COVID-19 protocol will be enforced. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 in Calvary Cemetery, Austin. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
