Sy Khaoone

Sy Khaoone, age 54, of Austin died Monday, January 24, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, Rochester, Minnesota.

Sy was born October 8, 1967 in Laos to Loth and Panh Khaoone. She grew up in Laos and came to America in the early 80s to better her life. She first lived in California, then traveled to Iowa, and later moved to Minnesota.

She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, spending time with her family, and especially babysitting her granddaughter, Abranna.

Survivors include her partner, Bounh Khamjoi; her mother, Pahn Khaoone; her siblings, sister, Kahm Rasmy, brother, Tiam Phatam, brother, Bee Khaoone, brother, Singlit Kalorn, and brother, Mong Khaoone; her four children, son, Billy Onhsee, daughter, Nina Onhsee, son, Ryan Khaoone, and son, Gomin Khamjoi; and one granddaughter, Abranna Khaoone.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loth Khaoone and her sister, Vanh Khathiya.

She would be so pleased to see many of her friends and family celebrating her life on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Living Bible Church, Austin, Minnesota, 301 4th St. SW. There will be a visitation at 12:00 Noon, a service at 1:00 pm, followed by the interment at Oakwood Cemetery, 1800 4th St. NW, Austin, Minnesota.
