Steven Rohde

Steven Allen Rohde, age 54, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System Austin, Minnesota. Steven was born in Osage, Iowa, to Raymond and Marjorie (Hacker) Rohde on February 10, 1967. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School. Steven loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, ATVs, and bike riding. He was a member of Mona Lutheran Church in Mona, Iowa and belonged to a pool league. Steven loved spending time with family and enjoyed playing Santa at Christmas. He was a big kid at heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his aunts and uncles, Richard and Rosella Hagelund, Duane Rohde, Gordan Hacker, Mary Wendelboe, Sandra Simonson, Debra Rohde, and Donna Karge; and many cousins and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marjorie Rohde, and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
