Ronny James Slowinski

Ronny James Slowinski, age 62, of Austin, Minnesota, formerly of Lyle, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Ronny was born on January 15, 1962, in Austin, Minnesota, to Anthony and Patricia Slowinski. He grew up in Lyle and enjoyed farming. On July 13, 1985, Ronny was joined in marriage to Diane Rae Holdgrafer at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. Ronny was a jack of all trades and worked as a mechanic and in heating and cooling over the years. He was involved with tractor pulling and was a big fan of John Wayne. 

Ronny is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Jessica (Chris) Kellerman; his bonus daughter, Hannah (Oliver) Regal; granddaughters, Celene “Peanut” Kellerman and Freya “Short Cake” Kellerman; bonus granddaughters, Chloe and Olivia Regal; siblings, Tom (Lori) Slowinski, Gene (Cheryl) Slowinski, Peggy (Mick) Kenis, Terry (Anne) Slowinski, Russell (Teresa) Slowinski, and Kris (Scott) Jensen; siblings-in-law, Chris (Ernie) Vipond, Linda (Dave) Hydukovich, Karen (Dave) Holdgrafer-Berry, and Annette (Steve) Holdgrafer-Koch; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; two nephews; and one niece. 

The memorial service for Ronny will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin with Fr. Thien Nguyen officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
