Ronald "Ron" Fisher

Ronald “Ron” Henry Fisher, age 68 of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Methodist Campus. Ron was born July 13, 1951 in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Paul and Marion (Wangen) Fisher. On July 21, 1979, He married Judy Lester at Geneva Lutheran Church. Together they had four daughters. Ronald worked for Bosch Company in Owatonna as a maintenance worker for 38 years, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed helping anybody, mowing lawn, walking, pushing snow, and going to the grandkids activities. Ron was a wonderful grandfather and family man. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife Judy Fisher; daughters, Lisa (Scott) Johnson, Kelly Witts, Brenda (Luke) Judy, Stephanie Fisher; six grandchildren, Auna, Larisa, Heidi, Olivia, Seth and Isabelle; siblings, Kathy (Ray) Edel, Dennis (Linda) Fisher, Ronald’s twin Donald (June) Fisher, Caroline (Bruce) Oeltjenbruns, Diane (Bill) Ferwerda, Kenny (Rita) Fisher, Marj (Gary) Radtke, Nancy (Mike) Wolters, Sue (Jim) Miller, Doug Fisher, Dale Fisher, Allen Fisher, Greg (Julie) Fisher, Jeff (Marty) Fisher, Lisa (David) Boyd, and Pam (Dave) Neuberger. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Scott Fisher; sister-in-law, Kim Fisher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota with Pastor Mike Walerius officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, at Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Blooming Prairie Cemetery. Worlein Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie are in charge of arrangements.
