Randy Emiliusen

Randy Dean Emiliusen, age 55, of Austin, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 25, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Randy was born December 7, 1959 in Austin, Minnesota to Earl and Betty Jean (Hackensmith) Emiliusen. He graduated from Austin High School and then the Austin Vocational School as an auto mechanic. On April 25, 1981 Randy married the love of his life, Judith Anne Beckel, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. To this union three children were born, Jason, Nicole, and Natalie. Randy was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. Randy worked for International Paper for the past 16 years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Randy was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Judy Emiliusen, Austin, MN; son, Jason (Amy) Emiliusen, Ramsey, MN; daughters, Nicole (Emiliano) Dall’Anese, Arvada, CO, Natalie (Jason) Weber, St. Augustine, FL; almost five grandchildren, Gracie Emiliusen, Sammy Emiliusen, Stella Emiliusen, Anthony Dall’Anese, and Baby Weber due in December; father-in-law, Richard Beckel, Kidder, MO; siblings, April George (Curt Nelson), Brownsdale, MN, Neal (Ronda) Emiliusen, Waukesha, WI, Dennis Emiliusen, Austin, MN, Keith Emiliusen, Austin, MN, Kerry (Lisa) Emiliusen, Keller, TX; sisters-in-law, Barb Chall, Wahoo, NE, Bev (Ron) Petersen, Nisswa, MN, Mary (Kirk) Lee, Kidder, MO, Carol (Keith) Schrader, Nerstrand, MN; brother-in-law, Rick Beckel, Minneapolis, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Betty Jean; brother, David; mother-in-law, Violet. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. There will be a 5:30 pm rosary on Monday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 pm and also one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
