Randall "Randy" Albert Bure

Randall “Randy” Albert Bure, age 67, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System of Austin. He was born on June 2, 1956, in Austin, Minnesota to parents, Albert and Joyce (Thompson) Bure. He attended school and grew up in Austin, Minnesota. Randy had always wanted to travel but never got the chance to. He worked delivering papers for the Austin Daily Herald, making cheese for AMPI in Rochester and delivering papers for the Albert Lea Tribune until his retirement, due to a back injury. He was a God-fearing man that believed in his Lord. Randy never had a bad word to say about anyone, he loved to joke and make others laugh even when he was very ill. He had a curious mind and enjoyed reading a variety of subjects. Randy loved relaxing by the river or lake and fishing. Most of all he loved caring for his wife Kathy.

Randy is survived by his wife, Kathy Bure of Austin; sons Josie Bure of Austin and Nathan Bustad of Austin; daughter, Nicole Anderson of Mankato; brothers, Richard Bure of Austin, Ron (Sue) Bure of Hopkins, Minnesota, and Steve Olson of Plumb Lake, Wisconsin; sisters, Brenda (Steve) Martell of Austin and Cindy (Michael) Wadding of Austin. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Joyce Bure; and his brother, Gary Bure.
