Noah Ingval Peterson

Noah Ingval Peterson, age 42, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, lost his battle with his demons in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his home in Blooming Prairie. Noah was born on November 19, 1981, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Donald and Nancy (Cram) Peterson. He attended Blooming Prairie Schools before starting his career driving truck in 1997.  In 2017 he purchased his grandpa’s trucking business, Peterson Trucking. Noah was united in marriage to Heather Lynn Lonergan on June 12, 2004, at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie. The couple was blessed with three children, Remington, Zander, and Annastyn. Noah was a free spirit who had a passion for helping others. He would drop everything he was doing if anyone called and needed something. Noah’s heart and soul was his family. He would do anything to make them happy no matter what the cost. He was so proud of each of his kids and would brag to anyone who would listen about them. Noah made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. He always said that a man’s word and a handshake were worth more than anything, something he learned from his idol, Grandpa Peterson.

In April of 2021, Noah was in a major truck accident that hurt his back and ended his lifelong career of driving truck. This accident had a huge impact on Noah’s mental health. Noah battled with depression for a very long time. He was very strong willed, always saying he was “good” instead of asking for help. In the end, all of the life changing events happening in Noah’s life became too much.

Noah leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Heather; sons, Remington (Alyssa), and Zander (Maddi); daughter, Annastyn; service dog, Gunner; fur baby, Odie; grandpuppies, Waylon, Titus, Diesel, and Blu; and many adopted children he considered his own. Noah is further survived by his father, Don Peterson Jr.; mother, Nancy Russell; siblings, Zack (Becky) Peterson, Jake (Alecia) Peterson, and Curtis (Eva) Widerholdt; grandma, Julie Peterson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Randy and Jill Lonergan; brother-in-law, Cole (Bri) Lonergan; sister-in-law, Holly (Joe) Lonergan; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Maddie, and Meadow Peterson, Mason, Peyton, and Brooklyn Peterson, Alex Widerholdt, Braelyn Lonergan, and Griffin, Roger, and Elizabeth Lonergan; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don Peterson Sr., Myrtle Peterson, and Marlys and Clayton Cram; uncle, Hank Olson; and best friend, Arron Stoen.
