Mary Bottin

Mary Teresa Bottin, age 65, of Austin, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Mary was born October 3, 1950 in Austin to Arthur and Mae (Horak) Hele. She grew up in Austin where she graduated from Austin High School and Austin Vo-Tech for Cosmetology. Mary worked as a Cosmetologist for five years, and as a Sterile Processing Technician at Mayo Clinic Health Systems for eleven years. Other jobs included Delta Dry Cleaners, Ankeny’s East Side, and Austin Packaging. Mary was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. On February 22, 2013 she married Steven Bottin in Austin. Mary loved spending time with her sons. She also loved slumber parties, card stamping, and shopping with her sisters. Mary enjoyed reading, walking, camping, music, traveling, and watching cartoons and movies with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Steve Bottin, Austin, MN; sons, Scott Billadeau, Glenville, MN, Brian Billadeau, Austin, MN; step sons, Steven Bottin II, Roseville, MN, Sean (Catherine) Bottin, Woodbury, MN; siblings, David (Mary) Hele, Birchwood, WI, Janice Tamke, Austin, MN, Karen (Ron) Baier, Owatonna, MN, James (Nancy) Hele, McAllen, TX; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mae Hele; grandparents, Joseph and Stella Horak. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. There will be a 4 pm CCW rosary on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 pm and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com
