Marie Dante

Marie D. Dante, age 96, of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Prairie Manor in Blooming Prairie with her family by her side. Marie was born in Johnsburg, Minnesota on December 11, 1915 to Joseph and Emma (Jax) Loecher. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Braun, Minneapolis, Donna (Dan) Daly, Delano; a son, Domenic J. Dante Jr., Austin; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Domenic J. Dante Sr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father John Traufler officiating. There will be a 6 pm CCW rosary on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 6-8 pm and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Special thank you to the staff at Prairie Manor in Blooming Prairie.
