Mabel Marie Hinks went to be with the Lord on February 16th at 12:39AM. Mabel was loved at the very beginning of her existence. She brought hope, dreams, and excitement to her entire family.
At the loss of a dear sweet child words cannot explain, how much the heart is broken, or how awful is the pain. Why dost Thou take little ones?” I asked as I knelt to pray. I felt His spirit telling me; “They are too pure to stay.” I had the warmest feeling that my child is happy and waits, until we are together again past Heaven’s golden gates. Time will reunite us in not too many years, in heavens place we’ll embrace, and joy will replace tears – Ron Tranmer.
Mabel’s life was filled with joy. She enjoyed kicking her mother from every direction possible. She enjoyed listening to the voices of her siblings, parents, and extended family as they eagerly awaited her birth. She loved music and danced in the small space that she had available. Mabel knew the Lord from an early age. She also loved listening to Christian music during long car rides. She especially enjoyed “Raise a Halleluiah”.
Mabel’s family was excited to see her first steps, hear her first babbles and words. Evelyn wished to spend time with Mabel and to teach her about putting on makeup, doing her hair, and trying on clothes. Yazmine desired to teach Mabel how to skate and play videogames. She also hoped to watch “Gravity Falls” with Mabel and teach her about Star Wars. Giselle wanted to teach Mabel many things in hockey. She wanted Mabel to win a lot of hockey games. Joanna enjoyed cuddling next to Mabel and making sure that Mabel knew that she was loved and adored.
Mabel is survived by her parents, Justin and Arianna and sisters, Evelyn, Yazmine, Giselle, and Joanna (Austin, MN), paternal grandparents, Michael and Joan Hinks (Shelbyville, IL), maternal grandparents, Tom and Norma Stady (El Paso, TX) and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Mauricio Huerta, and her uncle, Mauricio Ivan Huerta.
