Luanne Marie Morgan

Luanne Marie Morgan, age 67, passed away on January 18, 2024, at her home in Austin, Minnesota. Luanne was born August 9, 1956, in Austin to Norman and June (Mace) Opsahl. She attended school in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1975. On December 29, 1979, she married Stanley Morgan in Casper, Wyoming. To this union two daughters were born, Angela Marie and Michelle Lee. Luanne and Stan were later divorced. In 1985, Luanne and the girls moved back to Austin, Minnesota to be near family. Luanne loved to crochet, bake, and have family holiday meals. She also loved listening to classic country music. Luanne knew the true meaning of friendship and family and friends meant the world to her. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. 

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Morgan and Michelle (Gene) Stehlik; grandchildren, Kyle (Shawnnice) Morgan, Jerry, Desahna, Leeland, and Aaron Stehlik; brother, Gary Opsahl (Ruth Arens); sister, Renae (Darin) Simonson; special friends, Kimberly Horgeshimer, Laura Hunn, and Brad Guy; many other loving relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Parmenter; and brother, Rick Opsahl. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family interment in Grandview Cemetery, Austin. Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association or the Hormel Institute. Services are prearranged and performed by Worlein Funeral Home of Austin.
