Lee Getchell

Lee Francis Getchell, age 62, of London, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his home. Lee was born November 24, 1948 in Austin to Harold and Clara (Peck) Getchell. He married Judy Ann Broitzman. She preceded him in death on December 28, 1974. Lee worked construction. He was a member of International Word Fellowship and enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, camping, horse back riding, spending time with family and friends, playing pool and cards, and he loved garage sales. Survivors include four daughters, Lori Teresi, London, MN, Vicky Getchell, Austin, MN, Lana (Leslie) Barberette, Tennessee, Sally Getchell and her daughter, Ruby, Tulsa, OK; eight grandchildren; siblings, Donnie (Debbie) Getchell, Shakopee, MN, Patty (Jeff) Olson, Cresco, IA, Ted Getchell, Austin, MN, Fritz Getchell, Texas. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his father, Harold Getchell; mother, Clara Getchell; brother, Jim Getchell; daughter, Terry Ann Getchell. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Austin Christian Fellowship with Pastor Raymond Tuck officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home.
