Larry F. Wilson

Larry F. Wilson, age 57, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on September 24, 2022, at his home in Austin. Larry was born on November 8, 1964, in Austin, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Delores (Heller) Wilson. He attended Austin Public Schools and graduated from Austin Senior High in 1983. After graduation Larry joined the Army and after being discharged he joined the National Guard. He worked for Streaters in Albert Lea and Hormel Foods before becoming unable to work due to health issues. Larry was known as “the life of the party.” He loved talking with people and his boisterous personality is what drew people to him. He enjoyed karaoke, playing ping pong with friends, and especially taking his dog, Willy, to the dog park.

Larry is survived by his three children, Collin Wilson (Aracely Talamantes), Alyssa (Abraham) Rodriguez, and Ashley Boe (Alex Pena); five grandchildren, Santonio, Beatriz, Surelli, Benicio Rodriguez, and Sonny Pena; siblings, Jack Wilson, Dan (Marsha) Wilson, Steve (Melissa) Wilson, Jennie (Steve) Dammen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Delores; sisters, Sherrie Savko and Chris (Randy) Arnold; and infant brother, James.
