Joyce Elaine Wobschall

Joyce Elaine (Olson) Wobschall, age 92, of Austin, Minnesota, has been reunited with her beloved husband, Marvin, and two grandchildren on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce enjoyed breakfast at the Sterling Café where she had a “reserved” chair. She loved baking cookies and sweets for her family. Joyce and Marvin used to spend every Saturday night dancing, every hot summer day fishing, and their free time with their family.

Joyce was an avid bingo player and passed her love of game shows onto her grandchildren. They could always count on watching the Price is Right, her hitting their ankles with her Kirby vacuum cleaner, and delicious treats after dinner. She will be missed.

Joyce is survived by her seven children, Marsha (Tom) Downey of Austin, Larry (Pat) Wobschall of Austin, Judy (Pat) Condon of Piedmont, South Dakota, Randy (Anne) Wobschall of Rochester, John (Kris) Wobschall of Austin, Tom (Sharon) Wobschall of Austin, and Mark Wobschall of wherever the wind blows him. Joyce is also survived by multiple generations of grandchildren, totaling 78 grandchildren.

Joyce has requested cremation services with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
