Gloria Griffith

Gloria Jean Griffith, age 70, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato. Gloria Jean Dreyer was born on October 12, 1951, in Austin, Minnesota, to Harold and Charlotte (O’Connor) Dreyer. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. Gloria graduated from Austin High School in 1970. On April 24, 1999, Gloria married Henry George Griffith at Crane Community Chapel in Austin. Gloria loved Elvis, socializing with friends, and baking. She also enjoyed going to auctions, casinos, and playing bingo. Gloria will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Henry; children, Jennifer (Bill) Butts, Heidi Heskett, Jeremy Heskett, Heather Heskett, Justin (Amy) Heskett, Joleen Heskett, and Janine Heskett; grandchildren, Skylar, Alaina, Tabitha, Alexis, Hunter, Rodrigo, Leticia, and Keianna; siblings, Bruce (Sharon) Dreyer, Cathy (Robbie) Nance, and Cheryl (Bob) Root; and special cousin, Lanny (Anita) Bastianson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Charlotte; and daughter, Hannah.

A memorial gathering for Gloria will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
