Gertrude A. Hanson, age 73, of Austin, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Gertrude was born May 31, 1937 in Spring Grove, Minnesota to Gustav and Anna (Klegseth) Erickson. On June 24, 1956 she married Allen L. Hanson in Mower County. Gertrude was a cook and she loved to play bingo. Survivors include her husband, Allen Hanson; children, Keith Hanson, Dale Hanson, Gary Hanson, Sandi Crowson; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Charlotte Schroeder, Esther Funge. Friends may call from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Mayer Funeral Home.
