Georgia Block

Georgia P. Block, 96, of Austin died on Christmas morning Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. She was born August 3, 1914 in Mankato to John and Mary (Wineberger) Ruhland. She married Clifford W. Block, he preceded her in death on September 6, 1981. She was also preceded in death by fifteen siblings. Survivors included her children William (Bernadette) Block and Linda (Carl) Shoden of Austin. Five grandchildren and nine great gradnchildren. A funeral service was held 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Crane Community Chapel with Pastor Colleen Hoeft officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery.
