Frances Larkoski

Frances Louise “Fran” Larkoski, age 91 of Austin, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Adams Health Care Center. Fran was born April 26, 1928 in Eau Claire, WI to Arthur and Ellen McDonald. She grew up in Austin and graduated from St. Augustine High School. On August 20, 1949 she was united in marriage to Allan Larkoski at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. Fran was a member of St. Augustine Church and St. Augustine Ladies Ancillary. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and knitting. She particularly enjoyed when her grandchildren would come to visit her. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Potter of Minnetonka, MN; son, Timothy (Colleen) Larkoski of Diamond Lake, WA; daughter, Ellen (Charley) Wirtz of Tualatin, OR; son, Mark (Sandy) Larkoski of Austin, MN; seven grandchildren, Andrew James, Thomas Scott, John, Peter, Joseph, Lauren, and Luke; three brothers, Robert, James, and Donald McDonald. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ellen McDonald; brothers, Arthur and Charles McDonald; sister, Patricia Patterson; and her husband, Allan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. James Steffes officiating.
