Edward Neil Wollschlager, age 80, of St. Charles, Minnesota, and formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles. Edward was born on April 2, 1944, in Austin, Minnesota, to Edwin and Amilda (Kime) Wollschlager. He graduated from Austin High School. Edward was a jack of all trades; he worked for many years as a custodian. He also worked for his brother, Gary, as a painter until his retirement in 1999. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trips to the casino, especially Mystic Lake. He loved being with his family; he was such a loving father who cared so much about his children. We will love and miss him forever.
Edward is survived by his children, Carol Johnson of Kasson, Minnesota, Holly Booth of Kasson, Minnesota, Nora Olson of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Jeff Wollschlager of Clear City, Minnesota, James (Cheri) Wollschlager of Raymond, Minnesota, Grant Wollschlager of Minneapolis, Ken Wollschlager of Minneapolis, and Heidi (Dan) Andring of St. Charles; many grandchildren; and siblings, Cliff (Marlene) Wollschlager of Lansing, LeRoy Wollschlager of Austin, Glen Wollschlager of Lansing, Ann Oleson of Lansing, Gary (Joann) Wollschlager of Lakeville, Minnesota, Janet (Tom) Buck of Austin, and Joe (Sandy) Wollschlager of Cannon Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Amilda; brothers, Eugene (Nancy) Wollschlager and Gale Wollschlager; and sister-in-law, Marlene Wollschlager.
