Duane Thomas Tabor

Duane Thomas Tabor, age 66, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Our House Senior Living in Austin. Duane was born on December 21, 1956, in Austin, Minnesota, to Wayne and Viola (Janning) Tabor. He was baptized at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. Duane was a lifelong resident of Austin and raised his three children, Mike, Angela, and Sherri, in the community. He worked at Viracon in Owatonna for many years. Duane enjoyed softball, fishing, and a good Bloody Mary. He also loved watching the Minnesota Vikings and playing cards, especially Huckley Buck.

Duane is survived by his children, Mike (Heather Rae) Tabor, Angela (Travis Anderson) Tabor, Sherri (Steven) Hand; grandchildren, Devon Miles, Tyrese Barlow, Cole Tabor, Celsey Bauer, Charles Barlow, Chantel Barlow, Emmie Anderson; siblings, Donna Mae (Louie) Grage, Bonnie (Marvin) Ryks, Cheryl Ann Mikkelson, Gary Tabor, Steve (Judy) Tabor, Kathy (Marc) Knutson; significant other, Brenda Sipple and her children, Angela, Joshua, and Meghan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Viola; stepmother, Arlene Tabor; siblings, Delores (Don) Wytaske, Sharon (Lenny Kestner) Swallow, Eugene (Marie) Tabor, James Tabor, Marsha Allen, Patricia Bauer, Craig Tabor, Bruce Tabor; brothers-in-law, Julius Grage and Duane Sheldon.
