David Klinger

David Frank Klinger, 57, of Austin, Minnesota passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born April 14, 1955 to Wesley and Lorraine Klinger in Austin, Minnesota. On August 11, 1973 David married Joanne Elizabeth Espe at St. John's Lutheran Church in Austin. Because two people fell in love there are three children from this marriage and seven grandchildren. David enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River. David was preceded in death by his twin, grandchildren Noah and Isabelle Austin, father Wesley Klinger and Father-in-law Leonard Espe. He is survived by his wife Joanne, children: Chris (Steph) Klinger, Mikayla (Mark) Austin, Melissa (Brandon) Nieman; grandchildren: Miah Klinger, Zane Klinger, Ezra Klinger, Blaine Nieman and Alexcia Austin, mother Lorraine Klinger of Austin, siblings: Mark Klinger of Plymouth, Minnesota, Kaye (Scott) Perry of Austin, sisters-in-law Sue (Matt)Stark, Sherri (Chet) Iverson, Linda (Rick) Ringling, all of Austin, mother-in-law Janith Espe of Austin and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for David Klinger will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Mayer Funeral Home chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 until 8:00 on Friday, October 5. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
