Colette Wallace

In my heart you shall remain forever young. Colette was a loving daughter of William and Frances (Mayer) Wallace. A unique person dedicated completely to her family and loved deeply by them in return. Everything with Aunt Colette was an adventure. She was passionate about everything from Jesus Christ, patriotism, good books, fine music and all the underdogs of the world. Putting herself through school, she received a Masters and proceded to develop a unique stlye of teaching. Not just the 3R's, but decency, consideration for others, and a gratitude and appreciation for the little blessings in life. Colette saw the world filled with wonder. We ask God to bless all Colette's faithful friends who were there for her in her long illness. Bless and thank the staff at Sacred Heart and all its beautiful residents. Our Colette will be great missed. Colette is survived by her twin sister Kathleen (George) Finnegan, Austin and a brother Norm (Eileen) Wallace, New London, MN. Nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home.
