Clifford Wilde

Clifford Gene Wilde, age 75, of Austin, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Cliff was born July 29, 1936 in Austin to James and Elizabeth (Malone) Wilde. He grew up in Austin where he graduated from Austin High School. Cliff served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. Many knew Cliff as a long time bartender in the Austin area. Survivors include his long time companion and special friend, Marie Norman, and her daughters, Tina (Tony) Corporon, Kathy (Tom) Eeten; brother, Jerry (Mary) Wilde; sisters, Shirley Frankum, Dianne (Dennis) Distad; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon "Bud", Don, William, Clinton; sister, Dorothy Huffman. A prayer service will be held 7 pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 5-7 pm. Interment will be held 10 am on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post #91.
