Christian Draayer

Christian Draayer, age 54, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at his home in Austin. He was born on May 13, 1970, to Rodney and Mary (Helgsen) Draayer in Minnesota. Christian Draayer graduated from Austin High School in 1988 and went on to attend some college courses at Riverland Community College. He worked various jobs that included being the manager of TJ’s Gym and being a taxi driver for AB Taxi. He was passionate about all thing’s fitness; he was a dedicated weightlifter and gym rat. Christian also was wrestler for many years.

Christian is survived by his children, Storm Draayer of Austin, Matt Enright of Austin, and Crystal Dahlk of South St. Paul; grandson, Mark Miller of South St. Paul; uncle, John Helgsen. He was preceded in death by his parents Rodney Draayer and Mary Draayer; brother Mike Helgsen.

A memorial gathering for Christian will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin.
