Catherine Slezak

Catherine E. Slezak, 80, of Austin Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Adams Health Care Center. Catherine was born in Faribault, MN on October 25, 1939, to Lawrence and Isabel (Wagner) Barry. She attended Bethlehem Academy. On September 5, 1959 Catherine married Richard J. Slezak in Faribault. Catherine enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching cooking shows and crime shows, playing cards, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to travel to Spain, France, Italy, Monaco, Niger and New Orleans. Catherine is survived by her children, Kevin Slezak, Austin, MN, Catherine Arkells (Arnold) Lyle, MN, JulieAnn Scott (Brett), Liberty, MO, Richard A. Slezak, Austin, MN, Holly Murphy (Patrick), Austin, MN, Scott Slezak (Katherine), Austin, MN; grandchildren, Jennifer Slezak, Josh Slezak, Nick Slezak, Alicia Holten (Michael), Isabel Arkells, JulieAnne Arkells, Miranda Arkells, Nicholas Arkells, Ciera Scott, Alex Scott, Blake Scott, Patrick Murphy, Tanner Murphy, Emilie Slezak, Crystal Slezak, and Cody Weatherly; great grandchildren, Michael Slezak, Logan Slezak, Isaac Olson, Jackson Slezak, Owen and Ryan Slezak; brothers, Harold Barry, Lawrence Barry (Judy) and Michael Barry (Carol). She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; sister, Mary; brothers, Robert, Patrick, Richard and William. Private graveside services will be held. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home.
