Bruce Allen Grover

Bruce Allen Grover, age 67, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his home. Bruce was born on May 2, 1957, to Lester and Theresa Grover in Austin. He graduated from Austin High School. Bruce married Margaret Schumacher on August 7, 1993. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. Bruce was a taxi driver and also delivered pizza for Steve’s Pizza and George’s Pizza. He was a member of the AA Club for many years and recently received his 14-year chip. Bruce enjoyed building model cars and had over 200 model cars. Drumming, shooting his Henry firearm, cooking chili, and making meatloaf were Bruce’s passions. He enjoyed sitting outside in the sun with his dog and was able to enjoy the sun on the Saturday before he passed away. 

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Austin, Minnesota; siblings, Michael Grover of Arizona, David Grover of Texas, Scott Grover of Texas, and Debra (Ron) Dickens of Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Theresa Grover. 

A memorial service for Bruce will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Alano/AA Club in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin at a later date. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
