Bessie Noble

Bessie Noble, age 83, of Austin, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her home. Bessie was born November 2, 1927 in Lakewood, New Jersey to Samuel and Harriet (Burk) Cottrell. She went through the tenth grade. On September 8, 1945 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Noble in Lakewood. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2009. Bessie worked as a home health aide. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Circle. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Linda Bumgarner, Austin, Robert J. Noble Jr. (Lujean), Rochester, Thomas Noble (Cynthia), Dodge Center, Lisa Primavera (George), Boca Raton, FL; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by 20 brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Pat Toschak officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Friday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. The casket bearers will be Eugene Bumgarner Jr., Adam Noble, Andrew Noble, Amy DeToro, Darwin Noble and Michael Noble.
