Alice Marie Harrington

Alice M. Harrington, age 96, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin. Alice Marie Quam was born on September 27, 1927, in Austin, Minnesota, to Christian and Cora (Thompson) Quam. She graduated from Austin High School in 1946. Following graduation, she worked at a telephone company. On September 4, 1948, Alice was united in marriage to Warren Gene Harrington in Austin, Minnesota. The couple was blessed with three children. Following her marriage to Warren, Alice was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Warren’s business, Harrington Trucking. 

Alice is survived by her children, Judith Harrington of Austin, Kent (Bonnie) Harrington of Plymouth, and Tracy (Sheila) Harrington of Austin; four grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Patricia Harrington of Arizona, and Mickey Quam of Austin; and niece, Deborah Rodell of Janesville, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Cora; husband, Warren; and brother, Henry Quam.
