Alan Kelley

Alan Henry Kelley, age 37 of Albert Lea, Minnesota, passed away Monday morning, February 15, 2021, at his home. Alan was born to Henry Kelley and Catherine (Hogfeldt) Reed on July 9, 1983 in Monticello, Minnesota. He was baptized Pentecostal. He grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota and Austin, Minnesota. Alan worked at Perkin’s in Austin for several years. He loved listening to music and spending time with his family.

Alan is survived by his father, Henry (Jeanne) Kelley of Columbia, MO; mother, Catherine (Jon) Reed of Stacyville, IA; stepfather and stepmother, Kevin and Martha Cornellier of Portal, GA; brothers, Dannish (Kristie) Hogfeldt of Austin, MN, Shon (Stephanie) Kelley of Austin, MN, Cody (Michelle) Reed of Austin, MN; sisters, Katelyn Reed of Austin, MN, Tara Kelley of Missouri, Alexis Kelley of Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LuVerne Schlicting, Dennis Johnson, Charles and Halina Cornellier, Wanda Samuelson, John Henry Kelley, and Robert Reed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, Minnesota. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 57 people for the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Masks, social distancing, and all COVID-19 protocol will be enforced. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
