Adeline Cochlin

Adeline Lenore Cochlin, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Addie was born November 29, 1933 to Knut and Ella (Hove) Frondal. She grew up in Oakland on the family farm. Addie attended Austin High School. She married Hubert Michael Cochlin on January 3, 1952. Addie was retired from Kmart. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Moose Club. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, and her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Billy) Kelly, Rose Porter, Becky (John) Ramsey, Shirley (Donnie) Dreyer; sons, Donald (Leigh) Cochlin, Daniel (Betty) Cochlin, Chris (Diane) Cochlin, Larry (Julie) Cochlin; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Fern Wangen; brother, Stanley Frondal; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Peter and Carl; two grandchildren, Michael and Alexandria. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 pm on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the Oakland Lutheran Cemetery.
